Williams Ditching was founded in 1954 by Gaston Williams. Gaston bought his first ditcher and worked primarily in the Amarillo area for local contractors. He was soon known throughout the community as a hard working person who took pride in his work and had respect for the money his customers were spending. Gaston lived and worked by the idea that you “Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can get done today” and everyone knew the phrase well, often starting new jobs after what most call quitting time. In 1977, he brought in his son, Perry. Together, they worked long hours and weekends to build the company that today is known as Williams Ditching. Today, Williams Ditching continues in Gaston’s tradition of hard work and respect for our customers in and around the Amarillo area. For over 65 years, Williams Ditching has provided excavation and sitework services in and around the Texas Panhandle area.
